Meet Bryan

I'm one of the Instructors at Pedal Power Training

I have always been a keen cyclist, from when I got my first Raleigh 'Boxer' as a child. Later in life, I lived and studied in Cambridge, one of the biggest cycling cities in the UK, which heightened my love for cycling as a healthy and economical way of getting around.

I am also a cycle responder for St. John Ambulance, which is where I first met Donna. I had always been interested in joining the cycle response team and Donna became one of my trainers when I signed up in 2022. I now travel all over the country going to events on my bike loaded full of medical equipment! 

What I love most about teaching cycling

I joined the Pedal Power team in 2023 following several years working in catering and I haven't looked back! That feeling you get when you have a child screaming 'I'm doing it! I'm doing it!' just can't be beaten!

Favourite cycling routes

Favourite routes in my area include the Basingstoke canal paths, Swinley Forest and you can't beat a sunrise/sunset ride over the ranges at Ash, where you can see all the way to the lights of London from the top of the hill.

Inspiring a lasting ❤️ of cycling is our goal

  • Our son had a great time, we love Bikeability! Our girls also did it previously and they now cycle to secondary school on their own. We also all cycled to the Isle of Wight for a weekend together recenlty! Bikeability has definintely increased their confidence, and has increased our confidence in their ability, so we allow them more freedom.
